About this preset

The preset outputs 413×531px, a practical digital equivalent for a 3.5cm × 4.5cm portrait at 300 DPI. PPSC describes the size in centimeters, not pixels, so keep the face clear and use JPG.

Tip

If the portal still rejects your file, check background, face visibility, glasses/cap, JPG format, CNIC image, and file size. A small 21KB photo can still fail if the photo itself does not follow PPSC guidelines.

FAQ

PPSC photo resize

What is the official PPSC photo size?+

The PPSC photograph guideline says the photo should be recent, passport size, professionally taken, and minimum 3.5cm wide × 4.5cm high. This tool uses a 413×531px portrait preset as a practical digital export.

Should I use 25KB or 60KB for PPSC?+

The photograph guideline mentions 60KB, but the PPSC online application procedure says uploaded images should be less than 25KB. For the online form, use under 25KB as the safer target after resizing.

Is this free?+

Yes — no signup, no watermark.

Do you store my photos?+

No. Processing is in your browser only.

Can I use PNG for PPSC?+

No — the PPSC photograph guideline says file format should be .JPG. You can upload PNG, WebP, or HEIC into this tool as a source file, but download the final image as JPG.

Why was my 21KB PPSC photo still rejected?+

File size is only one check. PPSC can still reject a small photo if the background is not white, the face is covered, glasses/cap are visible, shoulders are missing, the file is not JPG, the photo was cut from another picture, or the CNIC front image has a problem.

Where is the full resizer?+
