Kodotools is a growing collection of free, browser-based utilities for image tasks, passport and exam-form photos, signatures, loan calculators, QR codes, and CVs. No uploads, no signups, no tracking — just simple tools that respect your time and your privacy.

The problem

Most online file tools are bloated, ad-heavy, and quietly upload your files to someone else's servers. They make you sign up, throttle you behind a paywall, or stamp watermarks on free output. For something as simple as compressing a photo for a job application, that's overkill.

Worse: when you're uploading a passport photo, an ID document, or a personal screenshot, you usually have no idea where that file ends up — or how long it stays there.

Our approach

Every Kodotools utility follows the same rules:

  1. Runs entirely in your browser. Your file is processed on your device using JavaScript. Nothing is uploaded, logged, or stored anywhere.
  2. Does one job, well. Each tool focuses on a single, specific task — like compressing an image to an exact KB target — and aims to be the best at that one thing.
  3. Free and unlimited. No accounts, no usage caps, no watermarks. Use it for as many files as you need.

What's in the toolkit

We're starting small and adding tools one at a time. Here's what's available now and what's on the way:

  • LIVE Photo & Signature Merger — combine a photo and signature into one image and resize each to exam-form sizes (SSC, IBPS, UPSC, NEET), with drag-to-place overlay.
  • LIVE Add Name & Date on Photo — stamp a name and date on a photo (white strip or overlay) for exam and job form uploads.
  • LIVE Signature Resizer — resize and clean up a signature to the exact pixels and KB an online form asks for.
  • LIVE Thumb Impression Resizer — resize a left thumb impression to 240×240 px and 10–50 KB for IBPS, SBI, and NEET forms, keeping the ridges sharp.
  • LIVE SSC Signature Size Converter — resize a signature to the SSC size (140×60 px, 10–20 KB) for CGL, CHSL, and MTS, with auto whitespace trim.
  • LIVE Passport Photo with Name & Date — make a passport size photo with your name and the date printed on a clean strip below it, for exam and job forms.
  • LIVE UPSC Image Resizer — resize a UPSC photo or signature to the required pixels and a 20–300 KB JPEG for the CSE and OTR forms.
  • LIVE DPI Converter — set an image to 72, 150, 300, or 600 DPI for print and document requirements.
  • LIVE Image Size Checker — check a photo's pixels, KB size, format, and DPI before you upload it.

Finance tools, same privacy rule

The loan calculator, EMI calculator, and amortization calculator follow the same browser-first approach as the file tools. You can estimate payments, compare interest, add extra payments, print a polished PDF report, or export an Excel workbook with the full schedule.

Finance results are estimates for planning only, not financial advice. We include inputs, assumptions, notes, rounded values, and the full month-by-month schedule so the export is useful outside the page too.

What's free, what's funded

Every tool is free for everyone, forever. We do not sell user data, and our browser-first tools are built to avoid collecting your files in the first place.
