How location QR codes work
We turn your place name or address into a standard HTTPS link (Google Maps search). Phones open Maps directly after a scan — no typing.

FAQ
Location QR questions
Does this use Google Maps?
Yes. We encode a standard Google Maps search URL from your text. It opens in the Maps app or browser after scanning.
Can I use GPS coordinates?
You can paste coordinates as text in the address field — Maps will resolve them. For precise pins you can also paste a full Maps link on our main generator.
Is my location sent to Kodotools?
No. The QR is generated entirely in your browser. Nothing is uploaded or logged.
PNG, JPG, or SVG for print?
Use PNG for screens and slides. Use SVG for crisp print at any size. Export at a larger pixel size for posters.
Is this free?
Yes — free, no signup, no watermark.
